How far is it by road to Turkey? - There are about 3000 road km from UK to Turkey, distance depending upon route taken. There are two favoured basic routes: the Northern option through either Holland or Belgium to Germany, Austria, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria, crossing into Turkey by land all the way, with a further leg to the resort or city of choice; the Southern (summer) option through France and Italy crossing by ferry to Cesme from either Ancona or Brindisi.
